Location: Near BSA Office and Veer Bhatti Ground, Subhash Nagar, Bareilly
Tapeshwar Nath is regarded locally as one of Bareilly’s oldest Shiva shrines. Its name is associated with tapasya, meaning meditation or spiritual penance. Local tradition holds that saints performed rigorous penance here and received the blessings of Lord Shiva.
The temple combines an old sacred area with later construction and facilities. Devotees commonly visit for Jalabhishek, Rudrabhishek and prayers for spiritual peace, health and fulfilment of wishes.
