Location: Pilibhit Bypass Road, Bareilly
Built in 2003, Pashupatinath is the newest of Bareilly’s seven major Nath temples. Its design is inspired by Nepal’s famous Pashupatinath Temple. The main shrine contains a Panchmukhi Shivling, representing the five faces of Lord Shiva.
The main temple stands in the middle of a water body. The complex also contains:
- 108 Shivlings representing the names of Lord Shiva
- A model of Mount Kailash
- A Bhairav temple
- Rudraksha and sandalwood trees
- A stone traditionally identified as a floating Ram Setu stone
Its distinctive architecture and peaceful surroundings make it both a religious destination and a popular visitor attraction
